Well, dear friends and readers, I have news. It’s good news, to be sure, but I am a sentimental sap and become overly attached to people and things, so it’s bittersweet for me.
Mommy, for real is moving!
This will be my last post on this website- effective Monday I will be posting from my brand new website!
I am taking the plunge and moving from Blogger to Word Press (non-blogger readers, just smile and nod and keep reading) and I will have my very own big girl website for the first time!
I think you will love it- in my humble opinion it looks downright sexy beautiful, and I am allowed to say that because I literally had nothing to do with it.
It has been just over six months since I began blogging, and I owe a big thank you to my friend John for starting me up here when I hadn’t a clue what I was doing. Layout? Templates? A Facebook Page?
I have learned so much since then, and at the risk of sounding melodramatic, I feel like my baby is growing up. (Sniff, sniff.)

On Monday I will be rallying all my troops in an effort to bring you all over to the new website, so stay tuned for my maiden post! I promise to keep bringing you more of the same; I will still be Mommy, for real, just in my fancy new digs. My old archives will be arriving at the new site shortly, just taking a lost-delivery-truck kind of route in order to follow all the internet rules.
Thank you all so much for reading, following, liking, and Tweeting, and bear with me over the next few weeks. I have been humbled and energized by your loyalty, friendship, and support.
