The cast of Listen To Your Mother Boulder 2019 met for our first rehearsal last week, and year after year, I always confess that I love the first read-through almost as much as I love the show itself. After listening to the show from start to finish, we can’t say it enough: You do NOT want to miss these stories! From crazy morning routines to soccer carpools gone wrong, from the joys and woes of parenting young kids to the uniquely complex mother-daughter relationship, from aging parents to the pangs of raising growing and grown-up children, this year’s show will take you on a journey you won’t forget.

The first read through is just pure magic. There’s something so thrilling about finally getting the cast all together to meet one another, witness the powerful storytelling, and get the “big picture” of the show. We laughed, we cried, we ate chocolate . . . it was fantastic. It really was a celebration of storytelling, because ALL of us have stories to share, and our stories are what make us who we are and what bring us together as a community.

It was an honor to meet at the resource center for our charity, A Precious Child, so we could see firsthand all the incredible work they do for our community.

Tickets are going fast, and we sold out last year, so don’t wait and get yours now. You can order tickets here.

We’re so excited for you to meet this year’s incredible cast in person and hear their memorable stories on April 27th. You can learn more about them here.
