I’m pretty sure nobody does mid-week wrap-ups, but in case you didn’t know, I am all about setting new trends. (*Boldface lie- I am a total sheep.)
However, I wanted to direct you to a few exciting things this week!
First of all, I wrote a post for The HerStories Project today about the impact of parenting on marriage. Tell me you don’t have some opinions onΒ that!Β I would be so happy if you could head over there and check out How Does Parenthood Impact Marriage?
After I returned home from my O’Hare post-BlogHer debacle, I was elated to see I made HuffPo’s Funniest Parenting Tweets of the week! I thought I was hallucinating from the stress of travel! You can check out all the funny tweets here.
I guest posted on Project Underblog on Monday, sharing one of my old favorite, Hi, I’m Stephanie, and My Children Annoy Me. Project Underblog is so cool- if you haven’t looked into submitting a post for them, you should!
Coming up tomorrow- Finish the Sentence Friday is all about your bucket list, and I’m using the opportunity to sum up my BlogHer ’13 highlights. Stop by tomorrow to see what I learned and who I met.
Oh, and if you want a slightly more entertaining depiction of my conference experience, complete with a hilarious video of me singing at a piano next to a drunk guy, read Kate’s post here.
Next week we resume the Around the World Blog Carnival, where we will be talking about academic pressure. Let us know if you’d like to join us for Tuesday’s post!
I will be on vacation next week, so I will hopefully not be glued to my computer… catch you when I get back, and expect all kinds of stories about restaurant humiliations and failed naps!
Ach why not be a trendsetter for once – it could catch on.
Glad you had such fun at BlogHer. Enjoy your vacation π
Love it and need to remember to use this is if I ever need to catch up a bit. And so looking forward to your FTSF post now for sure!! π
You made Funniest Parenting Tweets!? AWESOME! Congrats.
Congrats on the HuffPo funniest tweets…it is such a fun surprise when it happens! π So sad we missed getting to go to BlogHer and having the chance to meet you!-Ashley
I’m on vacation next week, too, so I will probably miss the academic pressure post. I felt the need to RSVP for that…
Off to watch you sing with a drunk. Good times.
I’ve been dying to read about everyone’s BlogHer experiences! Going to read your other post and catch up on some others’ too. I’m insanely jealous. (At least I think I am. I’m sort of introvert and wonder how I’d manage!)
What an exciting week for you! I loved your mid-week wrap up and I miss you in advance π
