I’m so excited to announce that today is the first video in my new ParentZ Bop series! Our very first “player” is Meredith from Perfection Pending. I met Meredith in the blog world several months ago, and I’m so glad that I did. I just love her writing- she’s inspiring, relatable, down to earth, and witty to boot. I think you’ll love her, too. Meredith’s song is “Eat Something,” and I felt like she wrote it just for me- or rather, my picky two-year-old who seems to have no interest in eating dinnerย ever.ย If you’ve ever attempted to feed a toddler, I bet you can relate, too.ย
Here is the video of me performing Meredith’s song- I’ve had it stuck in my head for a whole week now! Let me know if you find yourself humming it in the middle of the night, too…
Now head over to Meredith’s blog where you can read her inspired lyrics, and tell her she did a fantastic job! While you’re at it, you should totally follow her on FB and Twitter. She’s awesome.
Wanna play, too? Use the contact me form, or message me on FB or Twitter to let me know you’re interested! ParentZ Bop is all about rewriting popular songs from the vantage point of a parent- I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Next up is Peyton from Suburban Haiku– stay tuned next week for her hilarious song!
I have a 2 year old boy who fits this song to a tee! He only eats beige foods and fruit. No meat, no vegetables. EVER.
I only ate beige foods during the first trimester of my second pregnancy- ha! Bagels and Cheerios, baby! ๐
OMG – we are all (husband, kids, and me) laughing hysterically. I love this series. Now I have to come up with a song to submit for you!
Yay! Maybe some day we’ll do a duet, eh?
I seriously have been singing it too. And, so has my husband!! ๐ Thanks for bringing it to life!!
Totally stuck in my head all weekend! Thanks for starting out the series so brilliantly! ๐
